Research Consultant
No. of Post : 01
Eligibility : i. M.Sc in Botany/Zoology/Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry with at least 55% marks. ii. Ph.D in the concerned subject. Applicants having sufficient experience in bioprospection of biodiversity for novel bioactive molecules; assessment, measurement and conservation of biodiversity would be preferred.
Emoluments : Rs. 36000+ HRA @20% month
Junior Research Fellow/ Project Fellow
No. of Posts : 09
Eligibility : 1. M. Sc in Biotechnology/Biochemistry with at least 55% marks. Applicants having experience in isolation and purification of bioactive compounds and elucidation of their activity etc. would be preferred. 2. M. Sc in Botany/Microbiology with at least 55% marks. Applicants having experience in classical and molecular taxonomy, metagenomics would be preferred. 3. M. Sc in Botany/Chemistry with at least 55% marks Applicants having experience in biological invasions, ecological modeling and natural product chemistry would be preferred. 4. M. Sc in Geography/Geoinformatics with at least 55% marks. Applicants having P.D. Diploma in Remote Sensisng and GIS and/or working knowledge of remote sensing and GIS would be preferred. 5. M. Sc in Zoology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Fishery Science with at least 55% marks. Applicants having expertise in following fields shall be preferred. i. Classical and/or molecular animal taxonomy. ii. Biochemical profiling and molecular characterization.
Emoluments : Rs. 16000 for first three years and Rs. 18000 for third and 4th year +HRA @20% /month
Computer Assistant

Eligibility : i. BCA or B.Sc IT with 55% marks. or ii. Graduate with 55% marks and having passed one year’s Diploma course in Computer Science/Computer Applications from a recognized Institute.
Emoluments : Rs. 10000/ month (consolidated)
Field Attendants/ MTS
No. of Posts : 04
Eligibility : Middle pass and physically fit. Applicants with experience in multiple areas, such as field survey, collection and processing of biological material, gardening, driving etc would be preferred.
Emoluments : Rs. 7000/ month (consolidated)
