UNICEF Fellowships conduct University of Rajasthan
Eligibility : The fellowship is open to journalists who are working in the regional and national daily newspapers and magazines/electronic media and radio in Rajasthan, and recognized research scholars from the universities of Rajasthan. The detail research proposal for fellowships should be submitted in English or Hindi. The script/concept and detail proposal of the short film may be submitted to produce 8 to 10 minute film and similarly for radio report. The entry (film or radio report) must focus on helping sustain the social issues and must inspire others to carry forward the format in that medium.
Fellowship : The value of each fellowship is Rs 75,000.00 plus travel expenses as per actuals with a maximum limit of Rs 25,000.00. The reimbursement of selected fellowships would be on monthly basis on their submission of performance report, which will be monitored by an expert committee.
Selection Process : A jury constituted by CMC and UNICEF will review the applications, including the fellowship proposals. Two to three samples of published work are required to be submitted at the time of application.

Jaipur, popularly known as the Pink City, was founded in 1727 AD by one of the greatest rulers of the Kachhawaha clan, the astronomer king Sawai Jai Singh. It was designed by the brilliant architect Vidyadhar Bhattacharya. Sawai Jai Singh came to the throne of Amer in 1699, at the tender age of 11 years and showed signs of his brilliance even at that early age. He faced many difficulties but overcame each, and thus proved a strong and able ruler who could establish peace and stability. By 1725, he decided to build a bigger city Jaipur - and moved his capital from Amer to Jaipur.
