Job Description:
- Should have at least 3 years working experience in HP-UX, REHL and AIX
- Should have minimum 2 years experience HP-UX and Storage as a Engineer.
- Experience on HPUX operating systems.
- Strong knowledge about user administration and filesystem management activities.
- Experience in O/S hardening and performance monitoring
- Capable of doing patch management.
- Knowledge of cluster administration.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of RHEL
- Knowledge of AIX
- Knowledge on backup solutions like CommVault SIMPANA 10.0
- Good knowledge on system backups and restores.
EMC & HP Storage :-
- Experience in managing HP, IBM & EMC Storage systems namely HP3PAR, EMC, Dell, IBM X3550, IBM Storage Volume Controller
- Elementary exposure on Brocade/Cisco directors and Connectrix switches.
- Experienced in managing native paths and Powerpath software
- Knowledge of Navisphere manager and Unisphere
- H/W troubleshooting & Vendor / Principal coordination
- Knowledge of registration of hosts to SAN storage and LUN creation
- Candidate should be experienced in handling client, attend meetings and will be one point for all HP-UX related jobs
- Candidate will perform day to day activity ( prepare reports, monitoring events)
Required good communication skills
- Candidate should be flexible to work from home or visit site during emergencies.
- Should be flexible to work in Shifts in a 24 7 environment.
