This is your role. What part will you play? The Usability Expert is responsible for defining and designing usability for a web-based application, along with other usability experts. · Complete ownership of user experience topics related to product. · Understanding of domain, features, use cases in depth so that user experience of customers are top notch. · Understanding the competitor’s product and their user experience solutions to identify the gaps and make the product state of the art. · Closely work with Product Owner and other key stake holders to understand the requirements in depth with respect to domain and customer use cases. · Obtaining frequent user feedback based on standard methods (like surveys, empathy interviews etc) on the product usability, identify the gaps, improve the user experience. ·
Converting User stories into Concepts (Low to hi fidelity Wireframes) by ensuring high usability in line with Product usability topics · Prepare storyboards for user interface centric features · Defining Usability Frameworks (Heuristic evaluations, Protocol, Scale of rating, Affinity diagram etc, Conducting UTs…) · In person to remote usability testing, share recommendations and justifications · Explain/communicate the usability to development teams and involve in validation of the implemented usability ·
Documentation in English for Usability methods, outcomes with examples backed up user validations · UI Style guide for pixel perfect implementation · Organize usability workshop with stake holders by defining actors, roles and task cases and creation of task navigation map · Usability RQ's should be logged with respective severity and proactively discuss with stakeholders for their accept/reject in implementation phase of the project We don’t need superheroes, just super minds
Qualification: BE/B. Tech/MCA/M. Sc (Computer Science) or HCI, Interface and interaction designer Experience: 7+ years of experience in user interface development, usability analysis, usability design. At least 3 year of experience in usability analysis and design. Knowledge and Capabilities: · Must have proven experience in user experience topics, different types of work done in previous companies, participation in recognized hackathons, the out of the box UX design done, etc. · Previous experience in Locating System domain is added advantage. · Must be a team player, experience in working with scrum teams. ·
Excellent understanding about User Centered Design methodology, usability engineering best practices and Usability testing · Must have deep knowledge of Usability analysis and different usability testing methods · Preferably Certified Usability expert (HFI, NN group etc…) · Prototyping tools like Balsamiq, Axure ,Adobe · Experience in working on Adobe creative suit like Photoshop, Illustrator etc… · Usability testing software like Morae will be an added advantage · Must be self-motivated and driven to deliver on commitments · Excellent written and oral communication skills · Knowledge of Industrial will be an added advantage We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
