Category wise allocation of Seats : UR = 47; OBC = 23; SC = 14; ST = 6
Qualification : Passed 10+2 with science Physics, Chemistry & Biology with minimum 55% marks in the aggregates for General Candidates and 50% marks for reserved category candidates. Selection of eligible candidates will be made on the basis of aggregate percentage marks of PCB only secured by them in 10+2 Examination of CBSE/any other equivalent recognized Board. In case two or more candidates have secured the same aggregated percentage of marks, the inter-re-ranking of such candidates shall be determined by the age of the Candidate – older age to be selected.
Selected candidates admitted to the training course will be paid monthly stipend of Rs. 1500/-.
Age Limit : Not less than 17 years and not more than 25 years. Cut off date determining age, qualification etc. will be 16th August 2016. However, the relaxation in age will be five years for SC, ST and 3 years for OBC candidates as per Govt. rules/instructions in this regard.

Safdarjung Hospital started as an American Army Base Hospital during the II World war. In 1947 it was made annexe to Irwin Hospital (Presently LNJP Hospital). It was taken over by the Central Government in 1954 and named as Safdarjung Hospital. Until the inception of All India Institute of Medical Science in 1956, Safdarjung Hospital was the only tertiary care hospital in South Delhi. Based on the needs and developments in medical care the hospital has been regularly upgrading its facilities from diagnostic and therapeutic angles in all the specialties.
