Job Description
The Vertical Head – Digital Business leads and manages various digital business services programs undertaken by the organization. The VH is responsible for defining the IT strategy for enabling digital businesses such as VoIP, videos & movies, audio / music & gaming. The role is responsible for creating implementation models for each digital revenue stream and evaluate & recommend suitable IT platforms / solutions in line with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Desired Skills / Experience
- years of experience in leading IT projects
- Experience in managing teams of 30+ resources
- Must have experience in leading IT projects in digital areas of VoIP/music/video/gaming
- Experience in working with multiple vendors under various engagement models
- Experience of various tools & technologies required to build digital solutions from the ground up
- Experience in digital startup companies & product companies preferred
- Excellent personnel management, communication & influencing skills
Working Relationships (Internal/External)
· Senior management for program review, update and seeking guidance
· Vertical Heads to discuss and decide project priorities and planning
· Various internal teams (business, commercial, etc.) as required for vendor technology adoption
· Vendors for steering & program governance
