About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work on manipulating and editing film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
2. Work on taking a brief to grasp the production team's needs and specifications
3. Work on reviewing shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity
4. Work on trimming footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
5. Work on input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
6. Create rough and final cuts
7. Work on ensuring logical sequencing and smooth running
8. Work on consulting with stakeholders from production to post-production process
9. Work on continuously discovering and implementing new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency

2. can start the internship between 16th Aug'20 and 20th Sep'20
3. are available for duration of 4 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
Other requirements
1. Must have proven work experience as a video editor (for some campaign or college project)
2. Must have solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (like Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
3. Must have demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
4. Must have a thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
5. Must have familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
6. Must have a creative mind and storytelling skills
