Job Description
- Profile: Video Editor
- Location: Gurgaon
- Salary: Open
- Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in arts, Digital media/ BS degree in film studies, cinematography or related field/ BJMC-MJMC
- Responsible for short video content creation
- Finding the content on the Youtube/Facebook/Instagram or other video platform and downloading and editing the same to make it a better finished product.
- Expertise/ proven track record of editing and customizing professional quality videos.
- Be able to search/create content from different platforms and put it together to make an interesting video.
- Trim, edit, create footage segments and put together the sequence of the video.
- Input music, dialogues, graphics/effects, thumbnails and title to make the videos eye catchy and interesting.
- Expertise in using Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop.
- Final Cut Pro/Mac system experience is not considered.
- Responsible for creating storytelling videos creatively and skillfully
- Be familiar with Whatsapp/YouTube/Facebook/Instagram videos, be active in posting, sharing or even creating videos, knows how to find good video online.
- Maintain local hot content sensitivity; develop new labels, new topics, and new templates.
- Consistent approach in producing results under pressure in the fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrating excellence in video story telling with strong composition, timing and presentation.
- Should have good knowledge of latest and in tread video sharing applications.
- Should be very creative and aesthetic in approach.
- Ability to work various shifts and times, including evening, and special events as needed.
- Technical Skills- Adobe Premier, After Affect, Photoshop
- Accountability- Discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
- Organization & Planning- Plan & Organize work accordingly to meet deadlines under pressure in the fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in arts, Digital media/ BS degree in film studies, cinematography or related field/ BJMC-MJMC with 1-3 years of experience.
- Creative mind and storytelling skills.
- Proven work experience as a video editor
