Visiting Faculty English

No. of Posts : 2

Qualification : Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale (wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree from a University in India (recognized by the UGC) or from a university abroad shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.

Desirable : Candidates with Ph.D. degrees or pursing Ph.D in English are encouraged to apply. Candidates should be able to teach any of the English courses at the Undergraduate level. Candidate will be expected to teach evaluate, provide feedback to student assessments, and contribute to any other academic and administrative requirements of the English programme at Ambedkar University Delhi

Remuneration : Rs. 65,000/- p.m. (without PhD) or Rs. 75,000/- p.m. (with PhD)

Visiting Faculty Psychology

No. of Posts : 4

Qualification: Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale (wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Visiting Faculty Sociology

Qualification: Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale (wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree from a University in India (recognized by the UGC) or from a university abroad shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.

Besides being able to teach any of the fundamental Sociology courses at the Undergraduate level, specialization is sought in Economics and Political Sociology for Masters courses. . Candidate will be expected to teach evaluate, provide feedback to student assessments, and contribute to any other academic and administrative requirements of the Sociology programme at Ambedkar University Delhi
