 Job Description: 

Purpose of the job: Within the context of the Faculty of Business Management, the post holder will be responsible for a caseload of Assignments and examination answer scripts to carry out assessment against Regenesys Standards, ensuring timely completion of assigned work. 

Position Summary:  The Marker is responsible for all assessment related activities.  The Marker is responsible for performing assigned duties by Regenesys.  At a minimum, the related activities include, academic assessment, providing required academic material (cases, case-lets, question banks), preparation of assignments and question papers.  An instructor performs all other duties as directed by the Academic Manager, Head of India Campus or the Dean.

Organisational Reporting: The marker is directly responsible to the Academic Manager. The Marker would be working from Home.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

• To keep active at a high level of expertise in the subjects allocated
• To recommend textbooks and other instructional materials including classroom and laboratory equipment
• To stay updated concerning course content, requirements, and evaluation/assessment procedures
• To keep students informed about their progress or requirement of improvement through the comments, prompt grading of papers and other work
• To ensure that assigned work is completed as per the schedule
• To maintain accurate and complete records of the work allocated and completed
• To submit Failure to Report, Early Warning, Notification of Unofficial Withdrawal, and other documentation when appropriate
• To make use of available college online resources
• To keep informed of current trends and new approaches to assessment via professional development activities

Other Responsibilities: Assume other work related responsibilities as assigned by the Academic Manager, the Dean of the college, or the head of India Campus.

Performance Evaluation: The marker’s job performance will be evaluated in accordance with college policy.

Experience and Qualifications: 5+ years of academic experience and a Masters degree in Management. (PhD preferable)

·       Mastery of appropriate computer operation skills

·       Exhibit keyboarding skills

·       Possess basic mathematical skills such as percentages and fractions, etc.
