Job Description
Visiting Scientist – Genomics recruitment at ICRISAT Headquarters, Patancheru, Telangana State, India.
Requirements: PhD in Genetics &/or Plant Breeding/Computational Biology/ Agricultural Biotechnology preferably with 2-3 years of experience in genomics and molecular breeding. Experience in fine mapping and NGS-based data analysis is preferred. Familiar with standard computational genomic analysis tools and emerging software platforms relevant to trait discovery and molecular breeding. Good team player in cross-functional environments with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
General: This is a Visiting Scientist (VS) position for one year – extendable to another year based on the performance of the incumbent and funding availability, and the Institute’s continuing need for the position.
