SRF Applied Geophysics job position in Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology (WIHG)
Project – A : MoES Sponsored project entitled “Seismicity monitoring and evaluation of active faults in Garhwal Himalaya and adjoining Shimla Hills region in Himachal Pradesh” under the supervision of Dr. Ajay Paul, Scientist ‘E’.
Essential Qualification : M.Tech./M.Sc. in Geophysics, Applied Geophysics, Geology, Applied Geology with 1st class (i.e. 60%) marks and two years of research experience. Desirable : Two years experience in Seismological data processing and in handling modern seismological instruments
No. of Post : 01
Remuneration : Rs. 28,000/- p.m. consolidated for NET qualified candidates and Rs. 14,000/- p.m. consolidated for nonNET qualified candidate + admissible HRA. In case the performance of the selected candidate is not found to be satisfactory, the fellowship can be terminated
Age Limit : Not exceeding 32 years as on date of advertisement
