Operator / Technician – Probationer

Fitter/02 Post

Electrician/08 Post

Qualification : 50% marks in Madhyamik or equivalent examination and Trade Certificate (ITI) - 02 years duration / National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) – 03 years duration / National Trade Certificate (NTC) comprising of 01 (one) year Broad Base Basic Training with Certificate of Advanced Module of 06 (six) months duration and Certificate of Specialized Module for 06 (six) months duration i.e. total period of 02 years in Fitter / Electrician Trade under NCVT from any recognized Industrial Training Institute in the trade of Fitter / Electrician respectively. Part time courses / courses undertaken through distance mode / sandwich courses shall not be considered.

Pay Scale : Rs. 6300 – Rs. 20200

Staff Nurse/01 Post

Qualification : Higher Secondary (Class XII Board) and having Degree in Nursing / Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery from any institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. Selection Process : Eligible candidates will be required to appear for written test to be held in Kolkata only. Examination for all advertised disciplines shall be held on a single day to be intimated by WBPDCL through its web site.  For the position of Operator / Technician - Probationer, Sub-Assistant Engineer (Civil) - Probationer, Assistant Sub Inspector (Security), Staff Nurse, Security Officer, Medical Officer & Operation & Maintenance Supervisor – Probationer, selection shall be made on the basis of written test and personal interview only. However, candidates appearing for the written test shall be shortlisted for appearing in the personal interview.  For the position of Assistant Manager (PS) – Probationer, Assistant Manager (Civil) – Probationer, Assistant Manager (HR&A) – Probationer & Assistant Manager (F&A) - Probationer, selection shall be made on the basis of written test, group discussion and personal Interview. However, candidates appearing for the written test shall be shortlisted for appearing in the group discussion and personal interview at each stage of the selection process.  For the position of Assistant Teacher, selection shall be made on the basis of written test, class demonstration and personal interview. However, candidates appearing for written test shall be shortlisted for appearing in class demonstration and personal interview at each stage of the selection process. Besides above, final offer of appointment shall strictly be made on the basis of reports of medical fitness test of the candidate. Such medical tests shall be carried out at WBPDCL authorized hospitals only.

Application Fees : Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only). SC / ST / EC / PWD / eligible WBPDCL Contractors' workers & WBPDCL Departmental candidates are exempted from deposition of Application Fees. All applicable commission levied by the banker is to be remitted by the candidate.
