Assistant Engineer (Electrical) job Position in West Bengal State Electricity Distrubution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) through GATE-2017
WBSEDCL announces recruitment for the Post of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) and Assistant Engineer (Civil) through GATE-2017 scores.
Discipline : Electrical Engineers/Power Engineers/Electrical & Electronics Engineers and Civil Engineers/ Construction Engineers

i) Electrical: 58
ii) Civil: 38 (The number of posts may vary)
Educational Qualification: (i) Electrical Engineering- Full Time 4 years’ B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) Degree (including candidates who have joined the course through lateral entry) in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics (Combined) /Power Engineering /B.Sc (H) in Physics with 3 years’ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE/IITs. (ii) Civil EngineeringFull time 4 years BE/B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg.) Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE/IITs. Final year candidates are also eligible to apply
Pay Band & Grade Pay : Rs. 15,600 – Rs. 39,100 & Rs. 5,400
Age Criteria : Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01.01.2016
Eligible candidates who wish to apply for the position of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) & Assistant Engineer (Civil) in WBSEDCL will be required to first apply for GATE-2017 and thereafter, appear and qualify in GATE-2017 as per instructions and timelines notified by GATE-2017 Organizing Institute in the relevant GATE
