We are looking to hire a web designer & developer who is an expert at front-end design, UI/UX concepts, HTML5, CSS, JS and platforms such as Wordpress/Drupal etc. Prior to advertising or digital agency experience/exposure is desirable. People who like tinkering/modifying front-end designs, experiment with web assets and have a knack for visual design would be a good fit.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Your primary involvement would be to support marketing for major brands via web design & development. There are regular fresh/creative designs that are done for marketing campaign landing pages and micro-sites, as well as management of brand websites. You will work with a team of designers and writers and will be involved in creative ideation, brainstorms and innovations on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap or any other CSS framework
• Proficiency in Vanilla JavaScript programming
• Good understanding of HTML 4.01 (Table layout)
• Proficiency in mobile-first approach and responsive design
• Good understanding of database management systems
• Good understanding of content management systems like WordPress, Drupal, etc
• Good understanding of search engine optimization principlesProficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
• Good understanding of UX design
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas

Desired:

• Proficiency in graphic design using Adobe tools like AI, PS etc.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, Drupal, and WordPress
• Proficiency in ES5 and a good understanding of ES6 & ES7
• Proficiency in any build tool like Gulp, Grunt, Webpack or Parcel
• Proficiency in HTML emailer design
• Proficiency in version control system like GitHub, etc
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
• Good understanding of PWA
• Ability to adapt to new frameworks
