Job Description

We are looking for a WordPress and PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end and front-end development including creating WordPress themes and plugins and the interchange of data between the server and the users.

One must also have understanding of aesthetics( understanding element arrangements on the screen, color and font choices) and have strong content management skills.

Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application.

Responsibilities

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules

• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges• Creating the website architecture.

• Generating WordPress themes and plugins.

• Troubleshooting content issues.

• Monitoring the performance of the live website.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.

• Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.

• Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.

• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug
