Job Description
- We are looking for Front End Developer who would involve customizing the web interface through its modular structure by developing a web application that communicates with a MySQL database over a REST-ful API.
- The position would involve front end development in Angular JS, JavaScript, Groovy, HTML and CSS.
- Location: Mumbai.
- Candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, etc.
- Some individuals who do not possess degree in computer science but have knowledge of the computer programming languages can apply.
- 0-2 year of work experience is preferred, freshers may also apply.
- Design the overall architecture of the web application.
- Implementation of a robust set of services using the OpenMRS APIs to power the web application
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Translation of UI/UX wireframes to visual elements
- Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application
Essential:
- Prior experience in web based technology development.
- Experience in understanding of Git and other version controlling tools.
- Proficient in JavaScript, Angular JS, HTML, CSS, Java, MySQL, REST APIs
- Understanding of Apache Maven and Apache Tomcat
- Experience working with cloud hosted applications on AWS, Digital Ocean or other VPS providers
- Familiarity with Linux or other Unix based operating systems
- Knowledge of Groovy, Node JS
- Prior experience working on open source projects is preferred
- Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
