Responsibilities and Duties
- Build applications with clean, reusable and well-factored code with test coverage
- Passionate about great UX and clean, simple, and brilliant UI designs
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to understand requirements, communicate designs, and implement specifications
- Write clean, well-organized code, following industry-standard coding practices
- Learn and understand user interactions
- Results and Detail-Oriented with the Ability to Manage and Execute Multiple Tasks
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS and state management technology such as redux
- Experience with common front-end development tool such as webpack
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the Javascript language itself, including changes in ES8, ES6, as well as recent updates to CSS.
- Understanding of how to write secure frontend code and an awareness of common web application security vulnerabilities.
- Testing and the ability to write unit tests/specs (we use popular JavaScript testing frameworks).
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Experience in unit testing code with JEST / Jasmine / Mocha / Chai is desired
- Experience in LESS / SASS CSS pre-processors is a plus
