Job Description
The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun invites application for Walk-in-interview for engaging the following Project Personnel for the Assessment and Documentation of select insect taxa in Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary, Madhya Pradesh purely on contractual basis. The EQ, DQ and other details of the Project Personnel are listed below :
1. Engagement Position Senior Project Associate : 01
2. Essential Qualification (EQ): Ph.D. in Wildlife Science/ Zoology, Environment Science and Life Sciences.
3. Desirable Qualification (DQ): Four years research experience of working in protected areas on invertebrates, especially taxonomy and ecology of insects with relevant publications.
4. Work description: Candidate will conduct the entomofaunal survey, its identification, analysis and report writing of the project work. Pictorial guide of indicator species of insects will be developed.
5. Duration: Twelve (12) months
6. Location of Project sites: Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary, Madhya Pradesh
7. Emoluments: 42,000 + HRA
Age Limit:
Not exceeding 40 years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules.
