Himalayan Research Fellow/ JRF/SRF Job vacancies in Wildlife Institute of India (WII) purely on temporary basis
Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Wildlife Sciences/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Environmental Sciences or Management/ Life Sciences/ Biodiversity and Conservation with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University. Desirable : Prior work experience in the Indian Himalayan Region. Experience /knowledge on field data collection for flora, fauna, and their habitats. Vegetation/ habitat assessments, abundance estimation of fauna, camera trap based sampling and analysis; natural resource dependency surveys, socio-economic surveys.

Fellowship : JRF Rs. 16,000 for first two years and SRF* 18,000 (After two years & fulfilling requirements) + HRA
Age : up to 28 years for JRF and 32 years for SRF
