Job Description
- Strong troubleshooting skills on Linux and Linux server administration.
- Strong knowledge of distributions like RedHat and Debian flavors.
- Core system level knowledge (Linux Concepts, file systems, ACLs, Kernel, etc).
- Monitor everyday Servers and availability of all server resources and perform all activities for Linux servers.
- Good knowledge in Linux System Optimizations.
- Implementing effective backup strategies and Disaster recovery.
- Knowledge of DNS (Route53 DNS / Cloudflare), DHCP, MySql, POSTFIX, Apache, PHP, Python and Django etc.
- Experience on Important AWS services such as EC2, S3, ECS, VPC, ELB, Cloudwatch, Route 53 , EBS, Cloud Front etc.
- Snapshot and AMI Management
- User Management in Linux and AWS
- Managing RDS Database servers
- Should have working experience on monitoring tools such as New Relic, ZABBIX, Nagios etc.
- Excellent communication skills /Innovation/Analytical skills/able to apply new technologies.
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and have a flexible positive attitude
- Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Should be good at Vulnerability management remediation techniques
- Should have knowledge of Configuration Management tools Puppet/Chef/Ansible etc.
- Should have knowledge of Deployment tools such as AWS code deploy/Jenkins/Codeship etc.
