Good communication skills - Customer interactions. End to end IT infra & Business application understanding. Hands On experience on IT Infra & Cloud Deployment in both Public & Private env

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

8+ years of experience as a Virtualization & Windows administration for a large, geographically dispersed enterprise customers (minimum 500 servers)
Experience in the installation and configuration of components in a large virtualization environment
Should have working knowledge on various virtualization technologies like VMWare, HyperV, Oracle virtual Machin preferably
Secondary virtualization technology implementation knowledge of RedHat KVM will be also be preferred
Installation and configuration of Windows servers on Oracle VM server for x86 and for SPARC
Experience in performing network configuration like creating bonds, VLANs, VLAN groups for Windows servers & Oracle VM environment using Oracle VM server
Should have experience in storage configuration with NFS and iSCSI using Oracle VM Manger
Should have knowledge on server pool configuration
Should have experience in creating repositories, presenting them to Oracle VM servers and adding resources to these repositories
Experience in VM template design and leveraging respective virtualization Manager Component to right , virtual servers.
Experience in upgrading virtualization hosts
Knowledge and experience in installing and configuring Migration tools like Platespin, double take, Vconverter and using it for migrations
Good understanding of Storage and backup technologies and their integration with Virtualization components
Should have sound understanding of East-west network traffic routing and North-south traffic routing
Knowledge of monitoring, patch management, and backup tools
Experience in carrying out functional and failover tests from Virtualization point
Experience of validating the hardware and software bill of material
Good Communication Skills
Certification on Windows administration & Virtualization technology is preferred

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct design workshop & preparation of design in line with solution requirement
Preparation of unit test cases for the solution acceptance.
Assure that the most appropriate IT practices measures are in place
Proactively highlight the risks & its mitigations to senior mgmt

8+ years of experience as a Virtualization & Windows administration for a large, geographically dispersed enterprise customers (minimum 500 servers)
