Young Professional – II job recruitment in National Research Centre on Pomegranate (ICAR)
Young Professional – II /1 Post
Qualification: Post Graduate degree (M.Sc.) in Plant Biotechnology/ Life Sciences with minimum 50% marks.
Desirable: Working Experience in Tissue Culture or Biotechnology Laboratory, Good Knowledge of Computer Operation.
Pay Scale : Rs. 25000/- Fixed
Age: Minimum of 21 yrs and Maximu m of 45 yrs as per rules
2. Young Professional – II /1 Post
Qualification: Post graduate in Agriculture/ Allied basic sciences from recognized university having secured 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average throughout academic carrier Relevant working experience in ICAR institutes or SAUs with research knowledge in conventional and molecular characterization of genotypes, recording of observations and documentation etc. Good writing and communication skills.
Pay Scale: Rs. 25000
Age: Minimum of 21 yrs and Maximum of 45 yrs as per rules
3. Young Professional-I /1 Post
Qualification : Graduation in computer with minimum 50% marks and having good knowledge in computer and using internet.
Pay Scale : Rs. 15000/- Fixed
Age: Minimum of 21yrs and maxim um of 45yrs

was established on June 16, 2005 by the Indian Council of Agricultural
Research, New Delhi, as a step to strengthen research and development
infrastructure for pomegranate crop. Though Universities and institutes
all over the world are having research programmes on pomegranate, this
is the only institution working solely on pomegranate. The centre was
established to fulfill the growing demand for pomegranate both in
domestic and export market through tapping the immense production
potential prevailing in the country.
