Project :  SERB - Characterization and understanding the genetics of resistance of Ustilginoidea virens and identification of false smut disease tolerant sources in rice

No. of Post  :  01

Qualifications :  Post Graduate degree in Plant Pathology or Post Graduate Degree in Microbiology/ Botany with NET Qualification.

Desirable : Knowledge/work experience in routine Plant Pathology/Microbiological techniques.

Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/- per month + 24% HRA (PI: D. Ladhalakshmi) 

Junior Research Fellow

Project :  SERB — RNA — seq based mapping of robust root system architecture for identification of candidate genes

Qualifications :  M.Sc. Agricultural Biotechnology with four years of bachelor degree or M.Sc Botany/Plant Sciences with three years of bachelor degree (Minimum of 60% and above) with NET Qualification.

Desirable : M.Sc. Agricultural Biotechnology with Plant Breeaing/Genetics as minor subject. Experience in plant molecular biology/plant biolechnology/GWAS/ MAS/sequencing/bioinformatics.

Emoluments :  Rs. 25,000/- p.m.+ 24% HRA (PI: Dr. Kalyani M. Barbadikar)

Project :  ICAR —IIRR Core budget

Qualifications :  Graduates/Diploma holders in computer science/Information Technology

Desirable : Knowledge of database management system, Oracle, Java, SQL and good communication skills, knowledge of Management Information System/Financial Management Systems. Work experience with use of ERP (FMS/MIS) in public or private organization will be given preference.

Emoluments : Rs. 15,000/- per month (consolidated) 

Technical Assistant

Project :  RDST INSPIRE Faculty - Role of Ribosomal Protein Large (RPL) subunit genes and identification of their interacting partners in abiotic stress responses and a large-scale flanking sequence analysis of activation tagged population for yield attributes in rice.

Qualifications :  Degree in any life science/Diploma in Agriculture with good knowledge of field operations and computer applications.

Emoluments : Rs. 15,000/- p.m (consolidated) (PI: Dr. Mazahar Moin) 

Age Limit:  SRF, JRF & Technical Assistant : Below 35 years for men and 40 years for women (exemption of maximum age upto 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC & 10 years for PH candidates shall be allowed as per rules). Young Professional I & II: Should have completed 21 years of age and the maximum age shall be 45 years.
