They also help with treatment plans that range from medication to psychotherapy.

Psychologists are in high demand and there is a lot of work available for them. They can find jobs in hospitals, universities, research centers and many other places. The most common places where psychologists find employment are hospitals and universities.

Work schedule of a Psychologist

 Psychologists work in different areas such as insurance, communication, and education. An average psychologist would be expected to work about 45 hours a week. A few exceptions may be with the government where they may have less hours and more days off or private companies that offer more flexible hours and shorter commutes.

Qualifications required to become a Psychologist
