The responsibility of a tax inspector is like no other. A person in that position is expected to uphold the law and work in accordance with it.

Work schedule of a  Tax inspector

It is a typical 9AM to 5PM job but sometimes they have to work longer due to their involvement in raids, investigation of financial fraud and evaluation of finances of suspected individuals or organizations


Qualifications required to become a Tax inspector

Mostly it is required by a candidate to have a degree and a certain percentage in that qualification. They have to pass the SSC Combined Graduate exams of all the four tiers and they have to go through interviews and physical check-up to be declared eligible for the job.


Under-graduate courses to become a Tax inspector


  • Graduation from any stream is required

  • Class 12th pass out from a recognised board with any stream (Arts, Commerce or Science)
