Engineer/Assistant Engineer/Safety Officer recruitment in National Buildings Construction Corporation Ltd (NBCC) on fixed term contract basis for a period of one year which may be extendable up to Two / Three years as per performance of the individual and requirement of the Company
Engineer (Mechanical)
Qualification : Full Time Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from Govt. Recognized University/ Institute. For Degree Holder : 2 years & above, For Diploma Holder : 3 years & above and should have experience in supply and erection & commissioning of the air conditioning systems/water supply /firefighting network/compressed air systems. Should have thorough knowledge on Preparation of technical specifications, estimations of bill of quantity of buildings/ industrial structures and basic cost estimation based on central /state PWD rates including market rates analysis. Should have experience of handling and Supervision of installation & measurement and certification of works carried –out at sites. Experience of post construction inclusive of DLP and operation and maintenance of the system. Should have proficiency in use of computer. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in construction sector and / or have exposure in Govt. /PSU.
No.of Post : A panel of suitable candidates based on performance of Interview will be drawn and the same will be valid for one year.
Pay Scale : IDA Pay scale Of Rs. 16,400-40,500

Assistant (System/ IT/Networking)
Qualification : Any full time Bachelor Degree in Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Networking/ Hardware/ Software from recognized Institute / University or Any Bachelor Degree with at least Six months Computer Application Course. Minimum 3 Years work experience in the field of IT/Networking in construction industry, Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in Govt. / PSU Organizations

Safety Officer
Qualification : Full time Degree/ Diploma in Safety Management/Fire Fighting/ Industrial safety from a recognized Institute/ University of minimum one year duration. Minimum 3 Years work experience in Construction Sector and candidate should have experience in monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure personnel safety. Should have thorough knowledge on preparation and implementation of Site safety and Health Plan (SSHP) and encourage & educate employees to take precautions and adhere to safety rules to protect themselves and the equipment they use from damage. The candidate must have adequate knowledge on compliance with the safety laws, norms and standards

Selection Procedure : The selection procedure will be decided by NBCC depending upon the response received against each post. The Selection criteria can be by way of personal Interview or by way of Group Discussion followed by personal interview or by any other appropriate way. Decision of NBCC will be final in this regard. The name of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on website under head of “CAREER” and separate individual E-mails will be sent to the shortlisted candidates. The final selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in the Personal Interview, where after “Offer of appointment” shall be issued
