- Write clean, well designed code
- Produce detailed specifications
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
- Object Oriented Programming with the understanding of an MVC framework architecture
- Advanced programming knowledge of: Design patterns, MVC, ORM, OO or other organized programming practices, PHP best practices, unit and functional testing.
- Fluency with all minor versions of PHP from 5.0 to 5.4 as well as the compile options & extensions
- Strong MySQL database and SQL query language skills
- Working knowledge of Web Services (SOAP/REST)
- A foundation of knowledge and understanding of the following: LAMP stack, XHTML, HTML, Java, Javascript, JQuery
- Experience of working with AWS (Amazon Web Services) is a big plus.
