About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Creating 2D floor plans, elevations, and detailed drawings for interior spaces using software like AutoCAD or SketchUp
2. Developing 3D models and renderings to visualize design concepts and present them to clients
3. Designing interior spaces that meet client requirements, aesthetic preferences, and functional needs
4. Selecting furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials to enhance the overall design
5. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure design integrity and compliance with building codes and regulations
6. Communicating design ideas effectively through presentations, mood boards, and design boards
7. Conducting site visits and surveys to gather information and assess project feasibility
8. Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project goals
9. Providing design solutions and recommendations to address client feedback and requests
10. Staying updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design capabilities and innovation
