- Good domain Knowledge in Illustrator
- A solid grasp of the principles of 2D animation/digital cartoon character.
- Good sketcher manual.
- Visualize illustration according to the content requirement.
- Good knowledge of human anatomy.
- Analyzing a brief's specification and the text to be illustrated as well as researching sources.
- Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude.
- Thinking creatively and using imagination to produce new ideas.
- Creating images and designs by using the traditional hand skills of drawing and painting, alongside other techniques, to meet design briefs
- Working within a set timescale, often to tight deadlines.
- Creating original pieces of Cartoon.
- Illustrator must have the ability to fully comprehend the context of the author's words.
- Any degree in this field is an added advantage.
