Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Animation Production
-
Create high-quality 2D character animations, motion graphics, and visual effects based on project requirements.

Animate frame-by-frame or using rig-based animation (cut-out animation) depending on the style and tools.

Ensure animations are fluid, expressive, and align with the visual tone and timing of the project.

Implement feedback from directors and stakeholders to refine animations.
2. Concept Development and Storyboarding
-
Collaborate with storyboard artists, writers, and directors to understand the script, scenes, and visual storytelling requirements.

Participate in brainstorming sessions for character development, motion sequences, and storytelling ideas.

Convert concepts into storyboards, animatics, and visual pre-visualizations.
3. Design and Asset Integration
-
Work closely with illustrators and graphic designers to integrate static assets into animated sequences.

Prepare and organize character rigs, backgrounds, props, and other elements needed for animation.
-
Modify or create assets as needed to enhance the quality and coherence of the animation.
4. Software and Tools Usage
-
Use industry-standard software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, After Effects, TVPaint, or Krita for animation tasks.

Maintain organized project files, layer structures, and naming conventions for easy collaboration and revision.
5. Collaboration and Communication
-
Work in collaboration with scriptwriters, voice artists, editors, and sound designers to synchronize animation with voiceovers and sound effects.

Maintain clear communication with project managers to meet production deadlines.

Participate in regular feedback sessions, critiques, and team meetings.
6. Quality Control and Review
-
Conduct self-checks and peer reviews to ensure animations meet quality, technical, and creative standards.

Render previews, finalize files, and prepare deliverables in appropriate formats and resolutions for clients or platforms.
