Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and technically skilled 2D Animator to bring concepts, stories, characters, and ideas to life through compelling 2D animation. The ideal candidate will work closely with art directors, storyboard artists, designers, and scriptwriters to produce high-quality animated content for digital platforms, games, films, advertisements, explainer videos, or educational materials.
This role requires a strong understanding of animation principles, a flair for timing and movement, and proficiency in 2D animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or equivalent tools.
- Interpret scripts and develop clear, cinematic panel sequences.
- Create clean and expressive 2D storyboards or comic-style panels.
- Collaborate closely with directors, writers, and animators.
- Revise panels based on feedback and direction.
- Maintain consistency in style, character design, and staging.
- Strong drawing and storytelling skills
- Proficient in tools like Photoshop, Storyboard Pro, or Clip Studio Paint
- Understanding of composition, pacing, and camera angles
- Portfolio with sequential artwork
Key Responsibilities:
1. Animation Creation:

Produce smooth, expressive, and believable 2D animations using keyframe or frame-by-frame techniques.

Animate characters, environments, and props based on approved storyboards or animatics.

Integrate dialogues, sound effects, and music with animated visuals for final output.

Maintain a consistent animation style across projects as per brand or production guidelines.
2. Storyboarding and Concept Development:

Interpret scripts, voiceovers, and concept briefs into dynamic animated sequences.

Create storyboards or animatics to visualize scenes before production begins (if required).

Contribute ideas to improve visual storytelling, motion dynamics, and character design.
3. Design and Illustration Support:

Collaborate with the illustration team to adapt static designs into animation-ready assets.

Prepare layered files, rig characters, or use bone systems for efficient animation (rigging optional based on process).

Ensure visual continuity and quality control across scenes and transitions.
4. Revisions and Feedback Integration:

Make revisions to animations based on feedback from creative directors, clients, or quality assurance teams.

Maintain open communication with stakeholders and meet deadlines effectively.

Troubleshoot technical and creative issues in animation pipelines.
5. File Management and Export:

Organize animation project files and assets for easy access and backup.

Export animation in required formats for web, social media, broadcast, or app integration.

Optimize file sizes and formats without compromising visual quality.
