Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and innovative 3D Operation Manager to oversee and manage all 3D production operations, including project planning, team coordination, workflow management, and delivery of high-quality 3D designs, animations, and visualizations. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of 3D technologies, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams and client projects efficiently.
This role requires a blend of managerial expertise, technical knowledge, and creative insight to ensure smooth operations and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project & Workflow Management

Oversee the end-to-end 3D production process, from planning to final delivery.

Develop workflows and pipelines for smooth and efficient 3D production operations.

Manage project timelines, deadlines, and resource allocation effectively.

Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality 3D designs, models, animations, and visualizations.
2. Team Leadership & Coordination

Lead a team of 3D designers, animators, VFX specialists, and technical artists.

Assign projects, monitor progress, and provide creative and technical guidance.

Organize training and upskilling sessions to enhance team capabilities.

Resolve conflicts and ensure smooth collaboration between departments.
3. Quality Assurance & Technical Supervision

Review and approve 3D models, textures, renders, and animations to ensure quality standards.

Identify performance issues or errors in design and suggest corrective actions.

Maintain consistency, creativity, and technical excellence across all deliverables.

Stay updated on the latest 3D technologies, software updates, and industry best practices.
4. Client Management & Communication

Act as the primary point of contact between clients and the 3D design team.

Understand client requirements, project briefs, and expectations thoroughly.

Conduct presentations, demos, and project updates for clients.

Manage feedback effectively and ensure revisions are handled promptly.
5. Operational Planning & Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on project performance, resource utilization, and productivity.

Plan and manage budgets, costing, and operational expenses for the 3D department.

Develop strategies to optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency.

Collaborate with senior management to align 3D operations with organizational objectives.
Required Skills & Competencies
1. Technical Skills

Proficiency in 3D software like Autodesk 3ds Max, Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D, SketchUp, or ZBrush.

Knowledge of rendering engines such as V-Ray, Corona, Arnold, or Redshift.

Familiarity with video editing and post-production tools like After Effects and Premiere Pro.

Strong understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, and animation pipelines.
