Job Description
Sthyra Studios is looking for a talented 3ds Max Environment Artist with a strong eye for creating realistic landscapes, vegetation, and large-scale architectural environments.
The role involves building and optimizing high-quality exterior environments for architectural visualization while maintaining realism, visual quality, and efficient scene performance.
Location:Location: Abhigna Capitol, 17th Main Rd, Sector 4, HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560102.
Work mode: Work from office
Build realistic architectural environments and landscapes.
Create terrain, roads, pathways, hardscape, and surrounding environmental context.
Populate scenes with trees, shrubs, grass, people, vehicles, and other environmental assets.
Create natural and realistic vegetation compositions.
Manage vegetation distribution, scale, composition, and overall realism.
Optimize large and complex 3ds Max scenes for V-Ray, Chaos Vantage, and D5 Render.
Ensure scenes are optimized for real-time visualization.
Collaborate with modeling and lighting artists to achieve final-quality visuals.
Maintain high visual quality while meeting project deadlines.
Efficiently manage large-scale architectural visualization scenes.
Strong professional experience in 3ds Max environment creation.
Experience creating realistic exterior environments and architectural landscapes.
Experience working with large and complex 3D scenes.
Experience with vegetation, terrain, roads, pathways, hardscape, and surrounding context.
Experience creating environments for architectural visualization.
A strong portfolio showcasing exterior environments, landscaping, and architectural visualization is mandatory.
3ds Max — Strong expertise required.
V-Ray — Experience required.
Chaos Vantage — Experience required.
D5 Render — Experience required.
Forest Pack / Chaos Scatter — Experience with these or similar scattering workflows.
Strong environment and landscape creation skills.
Strong understanding of vegetation distribution, scale, composition, and realism.
Good understanding of scene optimization for real-time visualization.
Ability to efficiently handle large and complex scenes.
Strong eye for realism and environmental composition.
Ability to create natural-looking vegetation and landscapes.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to maintain visual quality under project deadlines.
Ability to collaborate effectively with modeling and lighting artists.
