Job Summary:
We are offering a valuable opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Account Assistant (Apprenticeship) to join our finance team. This hands-on apprenticeship is designed to provide practical exposure to the core functions of accounting and finance, ideal for students or recent graduates looking to launch a career in accounting.
As an Account Assistant apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced finance professionals to support daily accounting operations, maintain financial records, and assist with reporting, invoicing, and tax-related tasks. This role is suited for individuals who are eager to learn, numerically inclined, and looking for real-world experience in a structured corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Basic Accounting Operations:

Assist in recording day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks.

Support the preparation and posting of journal entries, vouchers, and receipts.

Help maintain ledgers, trial balances, and other accounting documentation.
2. Invoicing and Billing:

Assist in generating sales and purchase invoices.

Verify bills and receipts with supporting documents.

Ensure timely dispatch of invoices to clients and follow up on payments when required.
3. Bank and Cash Reconciliation:

Support daily and monthly reconciliation of bank statements and cash accounts.

Verify deposits, withdrawals, and outstanding cheques or transactions.
4. Filing and Documentation:

Organize and maintain accounting records, supporting documents, and files for audits and internal reviews.

Ensure systematic filing of bills, invoices, contracts, and bank statements.
5. GST, TDS & Compliance Support:

Assist in preparing GST input/output summaries.

Help calculate and prepare TDS returns, advance tax, or other statutory dues under supervision.

Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, or external vendors as needed.
6. Reporting & MIS:

Help compile and prepare periodic reports such as cash flow statements, income and expense summaries, and receivables/payables lists.

Support the creation of MIS reports for management review.
7. Coordination & Administrative Support:

Liaise with vendors, clients, and departments to collect financial data or clarify invoice-related queries.

Assist the team in preparing documents for audits or financial reviews.
