Job Description
We are looking for an Account Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks. Account Assistant responsibilities include managing Payables and reimbursements, entering financial transactions, creating invoices, and collection. Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

- Accounts Finalization
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting Data Entry
-
Enter daily financial transactions into accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).

Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers for sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.

Verify bills, invoices, and payment vouchers before posting.
2. Bank & Cash Management
-
Assist in preparing bank reconciliations.

Maintain petty cash records and ensure timely replenishment.

Support in tracking and updating bank statements and outstanding payments.
3. Billing & Invoicing
-
Generate and issue GST-compliant sales invoices.
-
Prepare purchase orders and match them with bills and delivery challans.
-
Maintain customer and vendor ledgers for accurate billing and reconciliation.
4. TDS, GST, and Taxation Support
-
Assist in preparing data for monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
-
Support in calculating and recording TDS on payments to vendors.

Coordinate with external consultants or CA firms for tax filing and audit requirements.
5. Accounts Payable & Receivable
-
Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing payments.

Follow up with customers for outstanding dues and share payment reminders.

Reconcile vendor and customer accounts on a regular basis.
6. Documentation & Filing
-
Ensure proper documentation and filing of all vouchers, bills, and statutory documents.

Organize digital and physical copies of invoices, payment receipts, and contracts.

Assist during internal or statutory audits by preparing required documents.
7. MIS Reporting
-
Help prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for internal use.

Compile expense reports, revenue summaries, and budget tracking sheets.

Assist the finance team with any special reporting requirements.
8. Coordination & Support
-
Coordinate with other departments (HR, Admin, Procurement) for expense and budget clarifications.

Assist in payroll data compilation and leave encashment records (if required).

Support auditors during internal, statutory, or tax audits.
