• Taking ownership of a company or department’s purchase and sales ledgers and assisting with month-end processes.
• Recording financial transactions in accounting software, including invoices, expenses, and payments.
• Coordinate accounts, including bank statements and other financial records to ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Overseeing accounts payable and receivable, certifying that bills are paid in a timely manner, and invoices are sent out prior to deadlines.
• Aiding with financial reporting, in the form of the preparation of financial reports for profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Dealing directly with customers and handling queries relating to invoices and other accounting issues.
• Various administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and ensuring that all documentation is organised and collated.
