Job Description
Job Title - Accountant and Admin
Location - Bangalore
Reporting line - Secretary and Treasurer of MRNKS Association
Job Purpose - The role is responsible for the day-to-day management of the accounting, administrative and commercial duties of the association.
Job Context - The role will be a multi domain facing multiple internal and external stakeholders of the association. The role requires a moderate degree of mobility.
Key Responsibilities, not limited to -
1) Looking after the day-to-day accounting responsibilities such as –
a. Billing and recording the maintenance fees receipts in Tally and Adda App.
b. Co-ordinating for the payments and recording and reporting of these payments of the Association in Tally.
c. Dealing with Banks for the association matters.
d. Preparation of monthly detailed Receipts and Payments reports along with balance sheet and present it to Management committee.
e. Co-ordinating with the Auditors for a periodical audit.
f. Responsible for accounting of costs of construction of Cultural Centre.
2) Looking after the day to day responsibilities of operations such as -
a. Maintaining the system of maintenance fee collections from the residents and keep meticulously track of them in the system.
b. Make timely efforts in collection of Dues from the residents.
c. Co-ordinating the agencies like Security, Cleaning and Gardening service providers etc. Keeping a checklist for the work done by the various agencies.
d. Co-ordinating with the external service providers of construction of Cultural Centre.
e. Managing the payments to the above agencies and external service providers, if any.
f. Correspondence and Timely Co-ordination with all parties connected for the Association Matters Including relevant government agencies, repairs & maintenance issues if any under the guidelines of M.C
g. Effective management of incoming emails and responding to those as required.
h. Responsible for compliance related issues and looking after the association records.
i. To arrange quotations for required services/work in the layout.
j. To strictly follow guidelines provided by MC.
Job Skill Requirements –
- Accounting Graduate (B.Com/M.com) with accounting experience of minimum of 1 year is preferable.
- Experience of accounting system Tally or any other similar accounting system
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word
- Operational experience in a similar environment is preferable
- Previous experience/practical understanding of operations and responsibilities of Residents Welfare Association is preferable but not essential.
Job Timings - Regular timings from 9 am to 6pm
Salary - Depending on experience
