Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure strict adherence to GST regulations, including timely filing of returns, reconciliation of GST accounts, and management of GST audits.
• Handle TDS compliance, including deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS returns.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements, reports, and forecasts to facilitate decision-making processes.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile inventory accounts to uphold precision.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
• Interface with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as necessary.
• Stay abreast of evolving accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations.
• Provide support for ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven track record in accounting, with a preference for manufacturing industry experience.
• Deep understanding of GST, TDS, and pertinent tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical acumen with a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to excel both autonomously and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Professional certification such as CA, CMA, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly in a manufacturing context.
• Previous involvement in inventory management and cost accounting.
