Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and hands-on experience with Tally, Excel, and GST filing. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records in Tally.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handle GST filing and ensure timely and accurate tax compliance.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable/receivable.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Generate reports using Excel to track expenses, revenue, and other financial metrics.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
- Liaise with auditors and tax consultants when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with Tally and Excel (advanced level).
- In-depth knowledge of GST laws and filing procedures.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
