Job Description
We are looking for an Accountant to perform daily accounting tasks. Accountant responsibilities include managing Payables and reimbursements, entering financial transactions, creating invoices, and collection. Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

- Debit Note/Credit Note
- Import/Export Documentation
- Customer Correspondence
- Banking Correspondence
- Foreign Remittance & Interest Calculation
- Accounts Finalization
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Record Keeping
-
Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Xero, or similar).

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.

Process journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.

Ensure timely and accurate data entry for all financial documents including invoices, receipts, and payments.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
-
Handle the full cycle of accounts payable: receive, verify, and process supplier invoices; manage payment schedules.

Manage accounts receivable: issue customer invoices, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.

Reconcile vendor and customer statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
3. Bank Reconciliation and Cash Management
-
Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between bank statements and company records.

Monitor cash flow, prepare daily or weekly cash reports, and alert the finance team of any irregularities.

Assist with petty cash tracking and reconciliation.
4. Taxation and Compliance
-
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including preparation of data for GST/VAT returns, TDS, or withholding tax filings.

Support external auditors and assist in preparing documentation for audit reviews.

Maintain accurate records to support tax filings and regulatory reporting.
5. Financial Reporting and Analysis
-
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.

Collaborate with management to provide financial insights that support business decision-making.
6. Payroll and Employee Expenses
-
Support payroll processing by coordinating with HR or payroll service providers.

Review employee expense reports, verify receipts, and ensure policy compliance before reimbursement.
7. Documentation and Filing
-
Organize and maintain digital and physical records of financial documents.
-
Assist in maintaining proper filing systems for contracts, invoices, tax forms, and receipts.
8. Internal Controls and Process Improvement
-
Identify areas for process improvement and assist in implementing better accounting practices.
-
Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures within the department.

Support the development and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
