Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Accountant with Sales Coordination responsibilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities using Tally, assisting with sales and marketing coordination, and maintaining effective communication between the plant, internal departments, and customers.
This is a dual-role profile that blends accounting accuracy with operational support to the sales function. Candidates should be detail-oriented, familiar with accounting principles, and possess excellent communication and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting (Primary Function)

Maintain day-to-day financial transactions including journal entries, ledger postings, and reconciliations in Tally ERP (or Prime).

Handle accounts payable and receivable entries and track outstanding balances.

Prepare invoices, delivery challans, credit/debit notes, and ensure timely billing to customers.

Maintain GST records, TDS entries, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.

Bank reconciliation, petty cash handling, and vendor payment tracking.

Assist in internal and external audits by preparing relevant documentation and reports.
2. Sales and Marketing Coordination

Act as a point of contact between the sales team, plant/production unit, and customers to ensure timely order processing and dispatch.

Coordinate order confirmations, delivery schedules, and stock availability updates between departments.

Support the marketing team in follow-ups for pending orders, quotations, and product-related queries.

Generate and share MIS reports related to sales performance, outstanding payments, and order status.

Help manage and update customer databases, sales documentation, and pricing records.
3. Customer Communication & Coordination

Handle basic customer inquiries related to billing, payments, dispatch timelines, and documentation.

Maintain polite and professional communication with customers via phone, email, or WhatsApp.

Track customer feedback and support the sales team in addressing service issues or follow-ups.

Coordinate with logistics or dispatch teams for shipment tracking and timely delivery.
4. Interdepartmental Coordination

Liaise between the plant/warehouse team, accounts department, and sales representatives to ensure smooth workflow.

Ensure all order-related data and dispatch instructions are accurately communicated and documented.

Flag any order issues, payment delays, or delivery exceptions to the appropriate internal teams.
Skills and Competencies

Tally ERP/Prime Expertise: Proficient in day-to-day accounting using Tally.

Accounting Knowledge: Clear understanding of GST, TDS, invoices, credit/debit notes, ledgers, and reconciliations.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi (or local language).

Sales Coordination: Ability to manage sales records, coordinate with field teams, and maintain order flow.

Attention to Detail: Accurate with numbers, data entry, and document handling.

Multitasking: Capable of handling both accounts and coordination tasks simultaneously.

MS Office: Good knowledge of Excel, Word, and email handling.
Eligibility Criteria

Education: B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA in Finance or related field.

Experience:
-
2–3 years of experience in accounting and/or sales coordination (preferred).

Freshers with sound accounting fundamentals and communication skills will also be considered.

Industry Background: Open to candidates from any industry (manufacturing, trading, services, etc.).

Must be punctual, dependable, and ready to take ownership of responsibilities.
