Job Description
Cheque Collection & Deposit: Collect cheques from clients and vendors, ensure accurate documentation, and deposit them into the company’s bank accounts on time.
Petty Cash Handling: Maintain and disburse petty cash, record transactions, and reconcile petty cash balances regularly.
Ledger Reconciliation: Reconcile general ledger and sub-ledger accounts periodically to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Collection Target Management: Follow up with clients for pending payments to meet monthly and quarterly collection targets.
Report Preparation: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to collections, expenses, and other financial data for management review.
Transport Bill Booking: Process and book transport-related bills, verify supporting documents, and ensure timely entries in the accounting system.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial books, handling accounts payable/receivable, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
This role is essential to the financial health and transparency of the organization and requires strong analytical skills, precision, and familiarity with accounting software and practices.
