Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update general ledger and financial records
Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with local regulations
Support internal and external audits
Provide financial analysis and forecasting
Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho or similar)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong communication and analytical skills
CMA, CA-Inter or any other professional certification is a plus
