Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role is essential to maintain the integrity of the financial processes and support overall company growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- General Ledger Management: Post journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and ensure timely closing of accounts at the end of each month.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements with internal records to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Tax Preparation & Compliance: Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure adherence to relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.
- Cost Management: Assist with cost tracking, analysis, and reporting to ensure cost efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization in accounting workflows and recommend improvements.
