Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, billing, and inventory-related tasks for our business. The ideal candidate should have basic computer knowledge, experience in billing and stock checking, and the ability to maintain accurate financial and stock records.
The role requires good communication skills in English, Kannada, and Hindi (spoken), and English (written). Basic knowledge of automobiles or auto parts is an added advantage, as the position involves working in an automotive-related environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Billing & Invoicing:

Prepare and generate sales invoices using billing software or manually.

Ensure accurate entry of customer details, product details, tax, and payment terms.

Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely billing and dispatch.
2. Basic Accounting:
-
Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software or Excel.
-
Maintain petty cash records and daily cash flow updates.
-
Assist in preparing daily sales and expense reports.

Help in tracking receivables and payables.
3. Stock Checking & Inventory Support:
-
Perform regular stock checks and maintain updated stock records.
-
Reconcile physical stock with system records.
-
Inform management of low-stock or out-of-stock situations.
4. Documentation & Filing:
-
Maintain organized records of invoices, bills, vouchers, and financial statements.

Assist with basic data entry and document printing or scanning.

Prepare reports and summaries as needed by management.
5. Communication & Coordination:
-
Interact with customers and vendors in English, Kannada, and Hindi.

Coordinate with suppliers for purchase orders and invoice matching.

Support team members with basic administrative tasks when needed.
Required Skills & Competencies:

Basic computer knowledge: MS Office (Excel, Word), email, and typing.

Ability to use or learn billing/accounting software (such as Tally, Busy, or similar).

Good numerical and calculation skills.

Ability to handle cash transactions and maintain records accurately.

Spoken proficiency in English, Kannada, and Hindi.

Written proficiency in English (for records, emails, basic reports).

Basic knowledge of automobile products or parts is preferred.

Organized, honest, and dependable work ethic.
