Job Description
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- The accountant must be a commerce graduate and/or experienced accountant from bank/private institution.
- Knowledge of tally latest version, excel, handling updated GST+TDS is a must.
- Minimum of 5 years experience needed.
- Knowledge of e-invoice is also preferred and/or required.
- Work entails mostly office work.
- Responsibilities may include direct interaction over telephone and via email with respect to payment enquiry with the client.
- oversees the tasks of sending new invoices to clients and ensuring all outstanding invoices are paid in full and on time.
- The Accountant should have an excellent eye for detail to catch errors on invoices and billing. They also should be good problem-solver, analytical, and have excellent technical skills.
- Residence preferred 15 kms from the Main Office.
- Working hours 10 hours per day from Monday to Saturday.
