Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Staff with strong knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime to manage day-to-day accounting operations in a production/manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in inventory handling, purchase and sales accounting, GST filing, and reconciliation tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP (Sales, Purchase, Payment, Receipt, Journal).
- Monitor and manage inventory transactions related to raw materials and finished goods.
- Prepare GST returns, TDS entries, and assist with statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with the production and stores departments for accurate stock accounting.
- Generate invoice, delivery challans, and purchase orders in Tally.
- Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.
- Maintain records of debtor/creditor balances and follow up as needed.
- Handle internal audits and provide necessary documentation.
