Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Accountant to manage the complete accounting operations at our Granite Factory located in Bargur. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, be under 40 years of age, and be well-versed in Tally and Windows operating systems. The role involves handling day-to-day financial activities, GST, tax compliance, and maintaining accurate financial records related to factory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily Accounting Tasks:

Record and maintain day-to-day accounting entries including purchase, sales, payment, receipt, journal, and contra.

Update and reconcile cash book, bank book, and ledger accounts regularly.

Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) on a monthly basis.
2. Tally & Software Proficiency:

Operate Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime efficiently for all financial transactions.

Work comfortably with Windows-based systems, file management, and basic Excel.
3. Taxation & Compliance:

Handle GST calculations, filing, and documentation.

Calculate and file TDS, maintain statutory compliance, and assist with audit preparations.

Maintain accurate documentation for income tax and statutory reports.
4. Reporting & Financial Oversight:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Generate management reports such as P&L, trial balance, and stock valuation summaries.

Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
5. Factory-Related Accounting:

Maintain inventory records and production cost entries specific to the granite industry.

Track raw material purchases, finished goods dispatch, and factory overheads.

Support store and stock management from an accounting perspective.
Candidate Requirements:

Education: B.Com / M.Com / or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or granite industry.

Age Limit: Must be below 40 years.

Technical Skills:
-
Proficient in Tally ERP (mandatory)

Good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Excel, and email handling

Understanding of factory accounting, stock, and production costs is a plus
