Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage the back office financial operations for our Paying Guest (PG) accommodation business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling payments, and ensuring the smooth running of all accounting-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial transactions, including rent collection and expense tracking.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers and financial records.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports as required.
- Handle payroll and other related administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Excel, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
